@brittainysaurus 80% of people who watch the OC dont know the band modest mouse... of the 20% who do know who modest mouse is, 90% only know them for the song "float on." 8% have never heard this song before hearing it on the OC. 99.99% of modest mouse fans dont give a poop that their song was the OC because its still extremely lyrically inventive and they deserve to be heard AND make $. you are the .01% of modest mouse fans who are like, "OMG, SELLOUTS." they are not sellouts and i hate you
