Occupy Springfield, IL., after many other attempts to get the message across to the Illinois House and Senate, dropped a banner today letting them know how we felt. SB397 is a bill giving away MILLIONS in tax breaks the state cannot afford to the extortionist corporations the CME and Sears Holding, Inc. After a Mic Check in the Rotunda one day, political theatre and Mic Check another, and many letter and phone calls sent to Senators and House Reps, this was our escalated attempt to deliver the message.
