@Petitegirl90 A person can get saved even if they are using a modern version. The Gospel can be found in any bible; no matter how corrupt and poor that translation may be, the Gospel is usually still in tact. But once that person is shown the Bible Version Issue, then they have a choice to make.

There will be a few bad apples in every group. But I assure you, most of the KJB Bible believers are very kind and humble. And I'll be sure to listen to what you have to say.

@Petitegirl90 That is not true ma'am. Now I am sorry to hear that you have met people who are like that and who claim to be Bible believers. That's unfortunate.

But not all King James Bible believers are rude, and argumentive. In fact, I would say very, very few are. I have not met one King James Bible believer who was hateful, mean or just down right rude. And obvously who ever told you that a person couldn't be saved if he used a modern version is simply wrong. (Continued)...

@chelsnrach12 I have met many kjb onlyists who do say you cannot be saved if you read ANY other translation of the bible. All of them are hateful, rude and very argumentative. They do not listen to any thing you say they just accuse you of being the anti christ and a worker of satan

@doctorh2005 In fact, they attack the Deity of the Jesus Chris, The Blood Atonement, the Trinity, even the Doctrine of Salvation. Also, some of the modern versions take out the word "fasting." Both Prayer AND Fasting is a powerful force in spiritual warfare & is crucial in a Christians spiritual walk. Read Mark 9:29, Matthew 17:21, 2 Corinthians 6:5. So, the new versions are not reliable. They are counterfeits. I highly recommend "The Answer Book" by Samuel C. Gipp.

@doctorh2005 In other words, they read it because they grew up in the church where their dad was a pastor, but they have not yet accepted Jesus as their personal LORD and Saviour. And of course, vice versa is true also. Many genuinely saved, born again believers read the KJV, and there are probably plenty of unsaved people that read the NIV, NLT, NASV, etc. Still though, truth is truth. Many of these modern translations water down important and fundamental doctrines.

@doctorh2005 Actually, there are many Christians who use the modern bible versions. There are many who use them simply because they don't know any better, some are just ignorant on the Bible Version Issue. Others, on the other hand, are just stubborn and choose to still use the modern translations even though, they have been shown the truth about these new bible versions. Now, on the other hand, there are probably some unsaved people that read the KJV, but don't apply it to their lives.
