Why are the reporters so surprised no one called police? This is in Richmond, CA. There is ZERO trust between the police and residents. I'm sure most of not all of the witnesses had been victims of police brutality themselves, or had needed the police just to be let down. Most Richmond residents (and resident of plenty of other cities throughout the US) have NO confidence that anything good can happen from calling the police. Why is that giant elephant never acknowledged by news reporters?
