I decided to shoot a video to show exactly what is happening when I attempt to start my stage 5 Saab 900. I have so far replaced the coolant temperature sensor, fuel pump, DI tested as good, new plugs (gapped), recent fuel filter, and no fuel leaks or CELs.
What happens is that the car will turn over happily but would sometimes not catch. When it does start, it will stumble as shown in the video but is sometimes worse. It only does this while parked outside; if parked in my garage with a constant temperature, it starts up without the slightest issue. The video commentary will provide the rest of the details, hopefully I can find a fix.
there is no fix..all you can do it run shell or exxon 93 octane for about 5 tanks fulls and it should become better..if it does you can go back to the fuel you were using if it continues then you will have to stick with shell or exxon 93 octane...
i work at a saab dealer in service...
