  • There's two women with orange on - one is Eleni #2, and the other is Amanda.

  • What happened to Amy Ecklund? They were grooming her to be the next Susan Lucci ... but where is she now? Cashiering at a Wal-Mart?

  • I agree. Many of them Moonlight on various shows. I'm really happy for many of them.

  • @laminage Also, the black actors and actresses you see on daytime soaps now have done other shows and movies, and still have their day jobs.

  • @coolwafferman, don't you notice that alot of African American Actors who get their start on this show do much better in Prime Time than alot of their counterparts. Sharon Leal, Jesse L. Martin, Taye Diggs, and Nia Long. Sharon and Henry Simmons (Ex Tyrone AW), worked with Tyler Perry in their Movies.

  • Aparently they stopped writing for Black Characters because they didn't "know" how to write for Black People (Insult!). If you had that problem "Hire" Black Writers. Don't be so stupid!

  • Guiding Light was the first Soap to put Black actors as main stars..GL focuses mostly on the oldest families like The Lewis family, Spauldings,Coopers, Bauers...so this is why you are not seeing too many Black families on the show...

  • This episode aired on Wednesday, July 3, 1996.

  • I know, the character they have now who is black is a joke,if I was him I would of tired and see if their was something else out their in the field because they made him out to be rather foolish.

  • So true. I blame the lack of black characters on the current leadership. Specifically, Ellen Wheeler and hack headwriter, David Kreizman. The only contract black actor might as well not even be on the show, his role is laughable.

  • GL had African americans back then, that's great today they only have one Black character. So sad.
