All of these comments have been taken from the videotape entitled This is the Truth
Professor Tejatat Tejasen is the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand. Previously, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the same university. During the Eighth Saudi Medical Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Professor Tejasen stood up and said:

"During the last three years, I became interested in the Quran . . . . From my study and what I have learned from this conference, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Quran fourteen hundred years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific means. Since the Prophet Muhammad could neither read nor write, Muhammad must be a messenger who relayed this truth, which was revealed to him as an enlightenment by the one who is eligible [as the] creator. This creator must be God. Therefore, I think this is the time to say La ilaha illa Allah, there is no god to worship except Allah (God), Muhammadur rasoolu Allah, Muhammad is Messenger (Prophet) of Allah (God). Lastly, I must congratulate for the excellent and highly successful arrangement for this conference . . . . I have gained not only from the scientific point of view and religious point of view but also the great chance of meeting many well-known scientists and making many new friends among the participants. The most precious thing of all that I have gained by coming to this place is LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAH, MUHAMMADUR RASOOLU ALLAH, and to have become a Muslim."

  • @l337pwnage ah well, suit yourself. Unto you your faith, unto me mine. Take care. Peace.

  • @seamr05 crazy does not mean unintelligent. If he is either Christian or Muslim, I consider both crazy. Whether you believe that someone actually died, and then resurrected, and therefore he is the son of god, or you believe that some illiterate businessman had divine inspiration in a cave, I consider both propositions silly. I also consider both irrelevant to modern society regardless of the veracity of their claims. They serve no purpose other than that of any other recreational drug.

  • @l337pwnage The later one is who I am talking about. I wouldnt call him crazy at all. He has a PHD in math and sees Islam through mathematical glasses as well. He is quite bright. and if you can proove him wrong, and debunk his arguments, you will earn my outmost respect. Do you know something that I don't since you assume he is crazy??

  • @seamr05 I assume you don't mean this guy:

"In February 2011, Congressman (Gary) Miller along with Congressman Ed Royce attracted international media attention for speaking in support of an anti-Muslim rally held in Orange County, California."

Srsly, tho, Gary Miller is a pretty common name, but I found your guy, he is some crazy Christian turned Muslim. Looks like he is trying to push the old "Islam is science" angle, lol.

  • @seamr05 I already know something that they don't, I know that there is no judeo-christian-muslim god, lol.

1985? well, at least its not as old as a lot of stuff that Muslims drag out to attempt to shore up their beliefs.

The Quran has nothing to offer me, so whatever "truth" people think exists in there is irrelevant.

  • @l337pwnage PPS. Have you ever heard of gary miller?

  • Ps. I dont beleive in Hadiths at all. They may have some historical value, but no religious one whatsoever.

I don't beleive the Quran because of prophet muhammed, I beleive in prophet muhammed BECAUSE of the Quran.

  • @l337pwnage Hitchens doesn't prove a thing. The Quran talks about itself and refers to the earlier scriptures and comments on them, that is hardly plagerism. If you dont trust me on that one you might want to get a hold on the catholic encyclopedia from 1985 and look up the section on islam and see what it has to say. After 1400 years of research they have come to the conclusion that plagerism is simply not an option. However if you have something that they dont theyd be happy to hear from you.

  • @seamr05 and we all know how 'orignal' the Quran is, lol.

You offer a nice Pantheistic view of Islam, that would be a nice direction for Muslims to go, it would pacify them a bit.

  • @l337pwnage "You do realize the muslim god is the same god? even they do not deny that." I know, but the perception of God does differ which begs the question? Judeo/Christian tradition sees him as a big fatherfigure, the Quranic perception is totally different. He is completely and utterly transcendent. What you as an atheist or agnostic refer to as ultimate Living reality, we call Allah. Whether God gets airtime on Fox or CBS or not is completely irrelevant to me... :)
