  • I used all your recommended settings and then when I went to play the video there was no audio. What am I doing wrong?

  • @143tbone Applying pan & crop won't affect the audio. But if the video file is mp4/mov and you allow Apple to apply a quicktime or itunes update, it is possible the new quicktime codec is not compatible with the older mov/mp4 file. If that is the case, uninstall quicktime, and install an older version.

  • I didn't actually see how to pan. You panned in your demo, and then, did it differently for the tutorial.

  • @BuildingCastlesMusic You pan by creating a keyframe as shown in the demo, and changing the zoom or pan at the point of the keyframe. Works the same whether zooming or panning.

  • Now is there a way to really "mask" it without the masking tool? Photoshop i suggest...

  • @MrSlyFox581 You can use the cookie cutter tool to do some masking.

  • @143tbone No, sorry. I was actually replying, I thought, to your youtube settings video. I applied THOSE settings. By the way, thank you for all these videos.

  • @MrSlyFox581 The free hand masking tool is in Sony Vegas Pro, but not in any version of Sony Movie Studio.

  • Also, when you click the pan/crop button, under position, i'm used to a masking tool so you can cut an image out of the whole image, can you do that with vegas movie maker 11 pro? because that is what program i am using...

  • @MrSlyFox581 The event pan & crop button appears at the very end of a video clip. If you don't see it there, right click on the clip in the timeline, and you'll find an event pan and crop option there.
