These kids were the real winners, they prob made the shit film watcheable with their performances, honestly they deserve more credit than dev patel n 15 min freida pinto. wtf did she do? run with a yellow scarg at the end n do some easy dance steps?

Why are these kids still living in squalor in India? The boy's shack was bulldozed by the government there, and people in Hollywood say they set up a trust fund for the kids. What good is a trust fund if you don't have FOOD! Hollywood got rich off of poor Indian children and now won't get them out of their slums!

These two kids don't live in the slums. The two kids who played the young version of Latika and Salim lived in the slums.
