How to Upload a Website to the Web - Dreamweaver CS4

Uploaded to 000webhost.com, free web hosting.

Welcome to part 3 of this tutorial and today I will be showing you how to upload your newly created website to the world wide web. I will of course be using a free web host and domain name.

The next tutorial in the series will be showing you how to get a free domain name, ie. ".tk" stay tuned for that.

I am using FTP with Dreamweaver cs4, any version will do.

Hello, I have a question which I urgently need answered!! I uploaded my site following your steps, but the homepage that comes out when I type the domain is an Index were you can access all of my files. From there you can access the actual page but I want it to redirect inmediately to the first page I selected, how do I do this?

@vivalachampions It is just a folder issue. You have the index file in a folder. You need to make sure your index is on the public_html and inside nothing. Use a program like FileZilla to access the folders on your server.

@Aikoverload Re-Upload the site. If you're changing the site very often, get a client such as FileZilla.

hey there .. thx for the videos .. AWESOME .. I subscribed .. I created a website that is 2 separate pages .. works perfect under viewing in browser .. though, in my file folder there aren't any 'index' files per say .. got 000webhost acct .. enter info into dreamweaver and selected upto all options and still will not connect .. I'd great appreciate any assistance ..
