This is the first Kitri I've seen in a long time who actually knows how to use her fan... it helps that she's Spanish of course. Some of today's Russian ballerinas are pretty good with the fan too, and no American ballerina has the first as to what to do with it. From a much older generation, Cynthia Harvey knew how to use her fan (watch 1983 Don Q with Baryshnikov) but then again she's Latina.
