In this tutorial, I go over using the ELSE statement with the Batch IF statement, in using the same method I did in my "Handling User Input" video (making a menu). If you liked this tutorial, please check out my others. Also, please rate, comment and subscribe! Thanks ;)

  • what is Notepad++ ?

  • It's like Notepad, but it's way more useful. It's got colour highlighting, line numbers, etc. All very useful for coding.

  • where can i get it?

  • Try Googling Notepad++...

  • hey there is a way simpler way of doing this. go like this:

    if %input% == * goto error

    the "*" represents any. have the target say something like this:

    :error

    cls

    ehco Invalid input

    :begin

    this will eliminate the need to repetitively put in the "()"

  • Nice tutorial this helped alot.

  • Thanks! Helped me a lot!

  • Nice mate, this might come in handy.
