  • He exemplfies the essence of Soldier ,

it's not just a word , He was a SoldeRED, Sold out Soldier , to die as a Sol die r

    don't wonder what He'd be today ,

His sacrifice is a honor for life .

  • @musicaykay

you know that really offends me that u called a guy that went to church with my grandmother, that has a wonderful family here and wonderful friends and died for YOUR freedom how would you feel if that was like family to you because u are also a military member

  • I learned of Matt at FOB Speicher, my first tour in Iraq, November of '04. It stuck in my head for some reason, they named the MWR center "Matt's Place." I looked up all I could about him when I got home...When I went back in '07-'08 they found him, and brought him home. I talked to a civilian employee that ran the MWR there, she was going home for his funeral, as she knew his family. I'm Glad he made it home...My Prayers are with him and his Family.
