RE:Barack Obama Says the Constitution is Flawed

My response to all the negative videos claiming that Barack Obama thinks the Constitution is "bad" and "wrong"

This is my first video response and I am not good at speaking (even it front of anything), but I love typing long responses so I typed it out and tried to look at the camera as much as possible.

The reason that younger ppl are drinking the Obama kool-aid is because they've grown up in a Culture of Cheat.

When I grew up, it was WRONG to steal, lie and cheat. Now, the youth are given a pass. This is revealed by their attitudes of pirating software, downloading copyrighted audio and songs, rampant cheating on test with texting, etc...

This goes hand-in-hand with the Marxist/Socialist/Communist mantra of "by any means necessary'.

@flashpolitical I find it a bit offensive that you make these assumptions about me, I am in engineering college now because of what I achieved and the hard work I put into high school. I put my best into all that I do. I really do not understand the point you are trying to make, are you trying to say that people who cheat support Obama and that they do so because he is a Communist? If so what aspect of his presidency would you consider cheating or Communist (they are not the same thing).

@johngalt888888 Can you explain what aspects of Obamas presidency you view as Marxist. I am guessing that universal health care is one of them. In that case I would point to many of the non-socialist countries in Europe that implement this system to better effect than our current "sick care" system which is used to create huge profit for the pharmaceutical industry at the expense of our health (preventative care can work wonders and way less). Are there any other policies you see as Marxist?

Anybody who has studied Constitutional law should know better! Redistributing wealth is out-of-bounds for the Court and the Constitution is the authority on which the Court rests. But Obama has said the Constitution is "fundamentally flawed" in that it only tells the State what it can't do TO you but not what it MUST do FOR you. Remember Kennedy? "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Remember that? Obama is the Anti-Kennedy.

@clarioncall77 Well, it's been 2 years, I have grown and my ideas have continued to mature, but I still hold to my views and am proud to support and defend my beliefs. I take comfort in the fact that I know I don't know everything, It's better than putting on a false facade claiming that I do. What I do have, as I had 2 years ago, are beliefs and principles that are founded on my observations of the world. Not what somebody tells me to believe.

@flashpolitical I assume (I may be wrong) that the grievance to which you refer in this case is slavery. If so it seems a bit insensitive to call it "perceived", as I am most sure that it was quite real. As for your accusations of socialism, I do like the some of its core principles, but as a realist I also understand the strong economic reasons for why it fails. And finally, the letter of the law evolves with society, and it couldn't evolve without people fighting against injustices.

@shreim1 If the constitution were 100% correct from the start we would still have slavery, and it is written with very specific guidelines on how to amend it.

I don't think that it can get much clearer than that, that the constitution was not meant to be a static set of rules, but a continuing evolution of core principles that unite our nation as a whole.
