How I Met Your Mother - My Theory of Who the Mother Is

This is just some things that back up my opinion on how the show will turn out. Of course, I have no ACTUAL proof to what the writers will choose to do with the show, but I think I make a strong case.

***UPDATE (1/30/10)***
Another name has been considered as a possibility for the mother. Hope Riley has been added to the cast member roster for the St. Patrick's Day episode on IMDB. I unfortunately cannot edit my video, but I just wanted to let everyone know that Nicole Muirbrook Wagner is not the only one vying for the mother's role. We just don't know officially which one it is. My money is now on Hope Riley.

***UPDATE (5/29/10)***
After a wonderful discussion with Hope Riley about the St. Patrick's Day party, it was realized that she is not the actress who played the "bump girl". She played the woman Ted took advantage of using her bar tab under the name "Gorrido". Could she be a key to unlocking the mysteries of who the mother is? Is she some sort of friend of the mothers? We can only wait and see.

The episodes used as clips are "No Tomorrow", "Milk", "Ten Sessions", and "Right Place, Right Time". The song is called "The Sounds of NYC" by Corey Crowder.

I plea to any of the admins out there to not disable this video. It took a lot of time to put this vid together.

to be honest, i doubt the producers have even created an actual mother for Ted's kids seeing as though that the show isn't exactly based on finding Ted's wife but more the actual idea of the sitcom - complication arises and characters resolve. Maybe eventually the producers will find a wife for Ted for when the show ends but not right now, HIMYM is at its peak of popularity and would probably go on for several seasons more.

@jackfreestone1 The show is based on the journey and growth of the characters leading up until he meets his wife. They have time. But, not a lot. The show has Ted talking to his kids in 2030, assuming his kids are 14 at the very youngest in these scenes that would make them born in 2016, meaning the wife has to be introduced by 2015 (no way is she a random hook up) and so.... 2.5 more seasons is all they have to work with before she has to be introduced for the show to make sense

The mother should be someone prestiges in the acting world, maybe Jeniffer Aniston.

The mother is Carly, barney's half sister who was in ted's class and is the roomate of cindy.

Your evidence could literally apply to any of the dozens of dark haired women shown at the St. Patty's day party, and we know that Stella does not introduce Ted to his future wife, since he meets her at Barney's wedding, which Stella was almost assuredly not invited to (what with her being a bitch and all), what Stella did was inadvertently lead to Ted becoming a professor. Furthermore, HIMYM shows dozens of seemingly meaningless interactions and doesn't give further meaning to any of them.

Well the Mother is called Tracy.

Ted met a stripper which name ist Tracy. He said "And that kids, is the story how i met your mother." At the kids reaction ("Whaaaat?!") you can see ; Tracy. Don't forget it ;)
