@tousif2000 In the movie there aren't just massive earthquakes happening, the whole earth is changing it's axis causing everything on the surface that isn't attached to be displaced. We'll imagine every body of water being displaced all at the same time and all in the same direction. My guess would be that you'll see waves of that magnitude evolve and rage around the landscape.

man the trailer for this movie was so much better than the actual film

thats freaken fake, ur not gonna get waves that big with only 7.9 and 8.2 earthquakes. the only way they could get that big is if a large asteroid falls.
