Your question doesn't make sense. You do realize this, right?

I will have to get my hands on it. A Rickards porter would be interesting. I think that, for a macro, even their poor stuff is good-ish. It's drinkable at least. It's, like Sleemans, a good introduction to better beers for a newb, and at least a passable drink for those with more refined palettes. I didn't mind the honey brown. But if the dark is better, then it's worth it. The white is nice.

I am drinking this right now and i agree with the 2/5... i was expecting more for some reason... it does have a hint of sweetness but i didnt get the toasted grains until i heard you say it.

Perfect timing, haha. Hey I'd like to see a Richards Dark review! That'd be neat. Thanks.

@JohnnyK98k Search my archives, I did a Rickard's Dark review a few months back.

Really, it's not supposed to an "english brown ale" - it's just a north american Brown. north american honey browns tend to be lighter in color and taste, and tend to be blander and less roasted/malty.
I don't mind it. It's not great - like all of Rickards, but I wouldn't pour it out.

Interesting. At any rate, I think Rickard's has phased this out in favour of their Dark.
