FF7 fans are lame... they keep bashing all of newer FFs just because of the new FFs don't offer them the same old stuffs as they expected.

My "childhood sucks" and Final Fantasy VII "isn't nearly as good as the hype" are two vastly different things. If anything, after watching this, I'm amazed at how much I'm still drawn to that world despite whatever shortcomings the game has.

@vrygar777 I totally agree with that statement. Final Fantasy Tactics had one of the best storylines(although the psx version had an awful translation) it actually dealt with a with real issue and had excellent characters that where complex and not to mention a world where you never could tell who was good or evil. Plus the gameplay was extremely deep and let you play as you saw fit.

"anoyyed by frequent random battles" well thats pretty much all final fantasy games aside from maybe 12 or 8 (after no encounters equiped). Sounds to me like you are grasping at straws. "ugly characters, ugly graphics etc, music sucks" This is all just an opinion from the creator of the video. I dont find it humerous or interesting. Just letting you know I enjoyed FF13 too, I just dont think its cool to hate on any of them like the person in this video think it is.

@RomanistaRLM Or because they're poorly written, anime-stereotype indulgent, games that play themselves. I like all of the FFs from 1-9, it was obvious that 8 took missteps but nothing to hold it back from a passing grade. 10 is where things went off the rails and series lost its identity, it didn't even have a conclusive ending! That's why they needed a direct sequel, why would 40+ hour game need a sequel!?
