Gunman opens fire on US embassy in Bosnia

http://www.euronews.net/ A suspected Islamist gunman who opened fire on the US embassy in Bosnia has been shot and wounded by police.




Amateur footage captured the moment the man was hit by a police sniper during the attack in Sarajevo. Under arrest, he was taken to hospital.




At least one police officer was also wounded in the incident. There are no reports of injuries among embassy staff.




Bosnian state media said the gunman was armed with a Kalashnikov and was a radical Islamist from neighbouring Serbia. Some reports suggest he may have had accomplices.
