You Got the fucking Award because Hollywood felt sorry for the Movie Producers since they didn't have money to finish the movie.. Idiot the Award wasn't for u. Hollywood always does charity work for the Unfortunate ones.

I love Rahman and his music. But Jai Ho is not his best work. Period. Undeserving of this particular victory. His score and songs from Bombay, Roja, Dil Se... are the ones to really cherish. Jai Ho and O Saaya were nominated and won because SM is a British film.

I like Jai Ho, but there are many better songs of his :)

@Linkadu yeah. it's mostly cuz slumdog millionaire had that starting from nothing to being at oscars thing and their song was catchy and a very good performance. they shouldn't have done it mixed it. down to earth was overpowered by the upbeat song and you couldn't really hear how amazing john legend was.
