synopsis:A contemporary native american mystery that takes place on a Minnesota reservation. The tribal chief has his hands full when his father-in-law turns up murdered. He finds the victim, a retired FBI agent, has been secretly investigating the disappearance of several white women that seem to be linked to the Indian personal ads. Are they connected? The timing couldn't be worse, with the upcoming powwow and his wife's birthday. This brings you into the private lives of the Indians as you've never seen them before. Featuring the music of Redbone. Filmed on location in the twin cities and mendota.
director bio:Rhonda Rana is a native of Albany, NY, and resides in St.Paul. A Hollywood Film Institute graduate, she is a member of IFP North, WIFT, and The Norwegian Explorers, a Sherlock Holmes appreciation group. She is married to a Russian Orthodox deacon and has 2 grown sons, both actors. She is currently working on a tv version of COME AND GET YOUR LOVE. This is her first feature and screenplay.
