Last YouTube (01/02/2012)

I pay OneTrueMedia a monthly pittance to take care of royalty issues. When those are posted here in YouTube, the censors here flag, or mute the sound tracks. There is no easy way to contest their decisions. It is immature behavior on their part. It not only constitutes censorship, but it smacks of restrains of trade, and defamation of character. It is time for me to move to another service. If you want to follow me, please find my Twitter account @cliffpotts. I will use that to announce videos released through One True Media. More than tired of playing with the children at YouTube.

There are ways to get around the automatic Youtube censorship/copyright filter. I just had this problem yesterday - it requires a small bit of editing on your part using Audacity to change the pitch of the audio that may be copyright so that the censors don't pick it up.

I know it's more work for you, since that's what OneTrueMedia is supposed to be doing, but despite Youtube's stupidity, there's always a way around. :)

I suggest putting up a video letting us know where you move to though.
