Started off with an empty hopper train off of the Royalton Branch. Next up was 227 coming out of Harrisburg with a train for the Lurgan Branch and points south. After he cleared the interlocking, a late 24V got permission to proceed east towards Bethlehem and ultimately New Jersey. As he was rounding the curve away 25V arrived with two engines and two cars for Harrisburg Yard. Immediately behind him was 25R with two light engines also for Harrisburg. Directly behind him was 65J, the westbound trash train. Next a change crew from Rutherford Yard pulled up along side 25R and 65J with a lone C40-9W for Harrisburg Yard. After all of these cleared the interlocking, an eastbound roadrailer rolls by. As he's moving a westbound loaded slab train rumbles by the long string of white trailers. That was it for that morning at CP Harrisburg. 05/05/2007.

  • what is in those blue bins?

  • I believe the train with the "blue bins" you're referring to would be 65J, loaded trash from NJ to the Ohio Central at Mingo Junction, OH.

  • In the 2ndtrain what is in the tank in the

2nd car? I railfan in Gainesville and Manassas VA. There are barely any intermodel trains there

  • I would assume the tank on the intermodal train is some sort of chemical but don't quote me on that.
