Dr. Carol Bartholomew, once an intern for prominent scientist Dr. Michael Nostrum, now a successful scientist in her own right, has spent the last eighteen years working along side her mentor on a confidential project. With the help of her good friend and nurse, Jackie, she has managed to maintain the secrecy of the experiment. Amidst the experiment exists a world of it's own where homeless teens and adults are disappearing by the hundreds, politicians are plotting and planning their state and nationwide takeovers and outcasts have found solace in an underground cult. While Detectives Hughes and Changas do their best to search for answers to the disappearances, bodies without organs began to turn up, the underground cult grows larger and Carol's secret experiment is threatened to be exposed; all within the blink of an eye.
