How long did it take to accomplish this? In your opinion, what was the hardest part of it all?

@Satori89 About a week of coding and test. I'm still pretty new steering code, being this is my first full-3D game.
The hardest part was to come up with a simple obstacle detection/avoidance system that didn't eat up too much CPU, since it all runs from C# script.
