Actually the true name of rectal palpation is "trans rectal palpation"; with rectal palpation we can examine the genital organs of large animals, like uterus and ovarium. By palpation we can get ideas about pregnancy and oestrus period, rectal palpation is the main type of examination for healthy reproduction of large animals(mare, cow...)
