If it was any where else, and moving at all, then where was the wind? Thus it can only be at the centre completly stationary.

@DonTheTurtleDude He looked at the numbers, and this was the only explanation. Before him, people basically thought the dots in the sky were gods. Trust me, I'm reading the Almagest in depth.
