At last I am uploading the final videos for the Waterfall board! Sorry folks, I've been quite busy and my net sucks :( I completed this board about 3 weeks ago :|

6'x4' board with waterfall, river, and large snowy mountain, plus a hill and some trees.

The whole board was flocked green at the client's request, and I have blended a few different tones of grass in for better effect.

This board was sent to a gaming club in Queensland, so happy gaming to all there and I hope you get good use out of the board :)

If you have any questions or comments let me know! :)

Elliott.

  • Really nice wut did u make the waterfall and mountain out of white pink or blue styro

  • @1234pwnd Hi, I use a dense polystyrene, the same used in billboard signage. It is pretty tough and handles damage just as well as high density foam (blue/pink foam). I find it easier to work with than high density foam - sculpts more easily, holds paint and glue better, and it is cheaper and easier to find ;)

  • thats truly really really nice....i am envious of your skill

  • @cheesy2259 Thanks :) Just takes practice and time, which I get a lot of :P I feel like I am only scraping the tip of the iceberg though, ha

  • Looks awesome! I like the modularity of the terrain pieces. Great how you show each piece in detail too, esp. the catches holding the board together. Very informative.

Can the top part of the waterfall be used as a separate terrain piece? It kinda looks like it has pegs to slot into the rest of the mountain.

I have a feeling your next project will surpass even this one ;)

  • @delryn256 The waterfall is a standalone piece, but you can alternate which end of the river it sits on, or you can leave it off the board entirely for a bit more space if you need to.

I have a few projects in the works, i'll be posting some videos up soon :)
