Trailer - Hakujaden (Toei Doga, 1958)

The movie trailer for Hakujaden (Legend of the White Serpent), Toei Doga's 1958 animated feature film. This is also Japan's first all-color animated film. Narrating in this trailer is Toei President Hiroshi Okawa, who wanted Toei Doga to become a "Disney of the East."

Hakujaden was released in the US under the title "Panda and the Magic Serpent." Many of Toei's movies were exported around the world

@randomuser1105 Actualy there is a japanis DVD but without subtitels. But there is also a german DVD with english Subtitels, witch is only viable on amazon. de .

The german titel is "Die Legende der weißen Schlange". The Publisher "SchröderMedia" also comes with the DVDs of Tatsunoku Taro(Taro der Drachen Junge) and Shonen Sarutobi Sasuke(Der Zauberer und die Bandieten). Both titels are with english Subtitels too. Hope I could help. =-)
