Plushenko did a quad... he didnt get deductions... still he gets second? i am not russian but im saying right here, he was robbed that olympic gold...

And as far as Lysacek being a theif..that medal was handed to him. If Plushenko's federation had felt he was robbed (by the judges, NOT by Lysacek himself..that is just plain NOT FAIR!) then they should have filed an appeal on his behalf. Why did thy not do this?? It was not Lysacek that 'took' the gold from Plushenko, it was his own Federation, with their silence. Trust me, if MY skater had lost by no more than Plushy lost by, I'd have been screaming at the top of my lungs for an appeal.

@jani1109 No one can ever discount what Plushenko has done for his sport. But for all of Plushy's greatness, Lysacek, on this particular night, was exactly what the new IJS wants, played the game, did NOT front load his program, was doing triples well into it, and as a result, won bonus points, and the game in Vancouver. I personally prefer the balletic stylings of Johnny Weir, and when I think of a skater that night that was truly robbed, Johnny Weir's name immediately comes to mind.

sorry, but you´re not right. Plushenko skated his program good and he was unstable just by jumping Axel. Lysacek´s jumping was not better. You have to watch his LP. The biggest difference between Plushenko´s and Lysacek´s skating from technical point of view was, that Lysacek didn´t jump quad. But he became more technical points. Unbelievably.
P.S. On this video is not Lysacek´s LP from Vancouver Olympics 2010.
