Why do women need cases for tampons? Can't they keep them in a handbag or insert them at home? It's like waving a big sign "Hey boys, doesn't this embarrass you?" Well no, it's something women do, no big deal, no more than carrying a toilet roll around in a special case to say "Hey, I shit. Doesn't that worry you?" No - it worries YOU to imagine it such a big deal.

@Saiaton Saiton - Women don't carry tampon cases around to embarass boys, but they seem embarassed anyway. By the way, these little cases keep tampons from getting damaged. Loose tampons can get torn or crushed if they're just rolling around by themselves in a handbag. Same reason we need cases for glasses. And as for 'inserting them at home,' tampons need to be changed as often as once an hour depending on how heavy the flow is. So, yeah, we actually need to travel with them.

Why are men so scared about touching or buying womenly products or even talking about womenly "things?" Like if I put "pads" on the list, my father refuses to buy them, as if he's scared of being seen with them. I just think it's ridiculous because if he is seen buying it obviously it's not for him.

I find the idea of a guy making tampon cases for women creepy. After all, Vinnie doesn't menstruate so that he would be so obsessed about it makes me go 'hrmmmm, something fishy about this dude'.

I mean imagine a woman who created a jock strap company for men and went around advertising it as Barbara's jock strap case or some such. Or if that's not a good analogy, pick your own, Barbara's jock itch ointment or what have you.

skb slinger, it is in the very fabric of feminism . Autonomy for women, awareness and control over their own bodies as well as responsibility for ones actions and well being. the other part is being significant in the world and respect and equality under the law.
