I read an article about low voc paint as well as boomerang a company that recycles paint and I thought that it tied in nicely with my painting with coffee video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9ttVdt20_k
@WELLBRAN the store where I got the paint (it was a store brand) have not really changed anything as they are within the law and no extra leaflets are there also I had asked ICI paint company to do something but they have not been interested it seems as if someone will die or have they already? maybe the fatality is put down to a heart attack I am a healthy guy non smoker or drinker in my 50's and have had a healthy lifestyle... but maybe other people may not survive
@WELLBRAN Also my symptoms were rapid pulse/ heartrate, severe sweating and feeling semi unconcious this lasted for 2 days and I was only using a wood primer for a small window, they beliieve the VOC vapour hung in the room below the window level window ledge was about 2 to3 ft from floor when painting inside the vapour was drifting back into the room with a slight breeze and also a sunny day. the tin just had the usual "keep well ventilated " info which I was doing
I used a high VOc paint and I was painint a window frame indoors I had the windos WIDE open later that night I woke and got up next thing my wife was trying to get me concious from the floor I believe it was the paint as earlier that day I was so tired and my eyes were watering for 2 days I thought I was going to die, ALL voc's in paint should be BANNED but it is legal (in UK) and the retailers and suppliers did not really want to know about me, I believe there has been fatalities with VOC's
its called low voc you dummy
