Mark Smith was such a wonderful man and I loved him very much. He was my uncle and was so kind, he never shouted or got angry even when we were play-fighting. I have so many fond memories of when he would come to visit at Christmas or birthdays and we would laugh at each other (in a nice way). He would stroll in and immediatly sweep me up in an enormous hug, then throw me back against the sofa and sit on me(!) :). He was always so much fun and is missed sorely. RIP my dearest uncle.

R.I.P. Mark Smith.
Rather ironic that he was a bassist for Kokomo/O'Malley .. right after Alan Spenner..and BOTH bassists have died.
Just like Joe Schermie & Jack Ryland in Three Dog Night.
So sad to see.

Very sad. One of the greats has sadly passed. Right up there with Pino Palladino, Mick Karn, Guy Pratt, Chuco Merchan and a select few others !
