every single one of your assumptions is flawed. Do not believe the environmentalist propaganda about spill fears. Spills are incredibly rare events. And they are always made to seem worse than they are. Look at the BP spill (second worst in history). It was cleaned up and the area brought back to normalcy within 10 months, while everyone was preaching doom and apocalypse for decades to come. Americans will suffer with higher fuel prices thanks to Obama's veto.

@Tryapplepie You are either just STUPID or you live some where else. You have no idea how awful an oil leak realy is. Just last month an oil disposal plant here in OK got a leak, it compleatly poluted a creek, a very importand water supply. Find the facts first.

I have said repeatedly to my representives to say NO to the keystone pipeline, unfortunatly one of my reps is ( Senator Inhofe of Oklahoma )- the bad thing is he is all GUNG HO for this thing. It will go right threw Oklahoma, that will be devostating to life. It is suposed to be so deep in the ground that if it leaks no telling how long before they would even find it. HORRABLE

BTW, Most of us who fancy ourselves politically savvy know the GOP has an unholy union with BIG OIL - but in this particular case, GOP speaker John Boehner benefits monetarily (he has stock in company(ies) that profit from this deal)
