This is a raw video file of our entrance to NAIA Terminal 3 passing through initial vehicular security checks. In this video can be seen the smog-filled Manila Airspace. The smog was caused by the smoke and other pollutants brought about by fireworks during the new year (2012) celebration.
As a result, this has caused air pollution and smog which caused for the low to zero visibility in Ninoy Aquino International Airport causing the airport closure which results to flight divertion to Clark International Airport in Pampanga and cancellation of flights.
Airport operations resumed around 9:00 in the morning which eventually moved all flights from it's original departing and arriving schedules to a latter time causing delays which yielded angry passengers stranded in the airport hoping to get out of Manila the soonest.
What an awful start for the year with a smog-filled NAIA.
