Fox News shows murder and blames it on the godless

So Glenn Beck on Fox News recently (September 29, 2009) showed a graphic murder. This is the sort of thing that would get a video pulled from youtube almost immediately, but for some reason Fox de...

"I would never murder someone, and I can say it IS because of my beliefs in God's moral laws (Judeo-Christian God"
lol

Well Richfiles Im proud to say that as an atheist I would never kill someone, not because God said not to, or to avoid n eternity in hell, but because have empathy for others and know its wrong.

Its scary when you hear Christians saying things like that, as if in the absence of a God they'd all just go on a killing, raping and pilaging spree.

A reall moral bunch.

Hmm. No background on WHERE this happened, WHY it happened, - oh, he mentions "gangs" - btw, most gangsta members probably ARE nominal members of some 'Christian' religion...

I'll bet not one of those animals that beat the kid to death would label themselves atheist. They are likely to describe themselves as believing in god if not subscribing to a specific religion.

@ richfiles

I was sickened by this murder. I would never commit murder. And I don't view any life as worthless. And I feel this way without believing in the Judeo-Christian god, and while believing in evolution (which I believe you were alluding to). Food for thought.

gotdamn glenn beck, using the brutal murder of a young boy as a way to show that god is needed, wtf, shouldn't this be used against god, how could such a powerful and all caring entity let such a defenseless child be killed, if ya didn't notice, the child was acting as any 'good' christain should have, he helped a freind in need even though he would obviously lose, and now he's dead, literally beaten to death, where's your god now?

So the only reason you don't kill people is because you're scared of hell? That makes you immoral in my eyes. I don't kill people because I do what I feel is right and it's got nothing to do with an imaginary, invisible man in the sky. The amount of violence caused by religion is massive. The stupid thing (among the many other stupid things) is that there is no mention of things such as child molestation in the bible, does that mean it's OK in your eyes?

@richfiles

I wouldn't murder anyone either and I repudiate your god's "moral laws".

I'm glad this video was shown on the news. Fanatical reporting, sure. Is this the norm? No, it's not, but it happens and it did happen because these kids have no moral development. They are raised in a society that tells them a rat, cat or monkey have the same worth as we do. No one considers the opposite effect, that a human could be seen as worthless as an animal from this view. I would never murder someone, and I can say it IS because of my beliefs in God's moral laws (Judeo-Christian God).
