Your vid is pretty helpful, I got the melody down just fine but the bass notes are what i wanted to figure out(mainly the walk-down before transitioning to a different progression) . Well played thx for postin'

very nice :)

the tabs are a little off
when you make the first transition from cadd9 to am the tab says to play the whole cadd9 peice
but when you and stephen actually play it you stop at the high e string and dont play b and g strings
you understand what im trying to say

Hi JaCkMiChEaLs0n,
Thanks for letting me know, I'll fix the tab submission ASAP. I wouldn't want people learning it wrongly just by a simple mistake! :)
Just thought i'd point out however, I don't play it and stop at the high e string before the transition to Am. I actually continue the riff by plucking the G and B strings after the high e, (as Stephen also does in the A Little Bit Special recording) - it's just that the riff is broken the moment the high e string would be picked.

what do you mean the riff is broken but you still pick the b and g
JaCkMiChEaLs0n 2 years ago
By "the riff is broken", I mean I don't finish the riff - it's "broken" because it ends earlier than expected - but yes, I still pick the G and B strings immediately before the transition from Cadd9 to Am (your original post stated I stopped at the high e string, I don't).
Hope this clears things up. :)

Where can I get the tabs for the version you are playing? All the tabs I've found sound way off, and you seem to be placing your fingers in different spots, though yours sounds awesome. Also, do you capo at the 2nd or 3rd fret?

Hi Gerabolt,
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
For this version I have the capo on the 3rd fret (as in the "Superhero" album). However, Stephen plays with a capo on the 2nd fret in his "A Little Bit Special" album, though the chord progression stays exactly the same.
I personally tabbed out both Craig Machine and A Little Bit Special albums, and have submitted them on Ultimate-Guitar[dot]com. In the latter you will find the tabs for "Lullaby". :)
Hope this helps man
