@jlhcornwall i use my pinky to bend too, but since watching this vid i have started to use my third finger. it just gives you more control and makes the bend sound stronger, more supported. i still use my pinky from time to time, but i've been changing it up. ultimately, it's about what works for you.

justin, thank you for these lessons. this series is definitely one of the most well-thought out and well taught blues guitar intros on youtube. and no, you're not talking too much. i know a lot of people are eager to learn and just want to see where to put their fingers, but they need to realize that it isn't just about where you put your fingers and what strings you play. it's about why-it's technique. and your technique is fantastic. clear, simple and rockin'! thanks again, man. peace.

Thank you Justin. I've been trying to get into blues guitar playing for months now, but I think this lesson gave me the final start kick. Now I have a good basis to built up on ;) I'm looking forward to the rest of the video series. Greetings from germany :)
Don't worry about all the theory just know that you can use it
