i am thinking about trading off my space marine army for a tau army would you reccomend?

@MONK3YP1RAT3S I would always say yes, but I'm just tired of playing against Space Marines. I rarely go up to the local GW store anymore because I would always have to play against some type of Space Marine.

would it be possiable to make a kroot army with out be heavy tau, love models and race

You might be able to have a lot of Kroot, but you cannot have an army made entirely of Kroot.

The Tau Codex requires a Crisis Battlesuit Commander. Plus I think the strongest Kroot weapon is at most strength 7. If a Land Raider comes along you are screwed.

You certainly can make an army which features all six troop choice being kroot and then have it backed up with Crisis Suits, Broadsidesm and Hammerheads.

I always run a squad of 3 XV88's with smart missiles and shield generators. Using 2 squads isnt as fun because it pretty much garantees the enemy cannot have and tanks and they can loose hope.

hi, much like the comments above me im thinking of selling my blood angels for tau, at the same time im building my chaos space marine army (ive made alot of conversions from my previous blood angel army) so should i switch?

@RockoRobotics lol i traded anyway I decided that tau dont always win. but if i can be smart enough and if i can work hard i can be an amazing strategist, lol itd be nice if you could make some tau batreps, PLEASE!
