HAHAHA :-D!! I've gotta hand it to you. That's the first time I've ever seen someone land on a balloon. My accuracy isn't quite up to that challenge yet. Nope, not quite ready at all... Thanks for sharing.

If you look closely there's a big circular wooden disc on top. The pilot probably left the velcro tabs on the balloon's parachute done up too, just for extra measure but I doubt they would've sewn the top up. Also, the balloon is pretty firm when fully inflated and in the climb or straight and level. Bit like a soft air bed.
