  • @metsdudenj The rule at the time was the top two from trials automatically made the team if they showed they were healthy at the final camp. So she did earn her spot as she placed second at trials.

  • never stuck a landing there, ever

  • @emmyjo720 because she was so overhyped in the trials, there is no way she should have gotten that bye into the team

  • @emmyjo720 Wasn't she injured??

  • If Marta was so impressed with Courtney McCool, why was she benched, she has better beam and floor than Courtney Kupets, she had the best lines, choreography and presentation on the US team.

  • I met her about a month ago... such a great, great gymnast.

  • Why, oh why did they pick Carly for the TF ><

  • totally underscored

  • @whipback3 well Kupets had huge swing and good difficulty..but Carly..it's unacceptable that she didnt outscore her..yet Carly was the reigning AA silver medalist, and we all know how biased gymnastics is..sadly..it wants to be a sport, but it does things that make it seem like a social club which just happenes to award medals
