I once did 5 huge bong hits and then ate 4 big bags of Combos. I was on call and the hospital paged me. I had to go in stoned as hell with Combos cheese all over my face and grill.. After 7 hours in the ER, I succesfully removed a malignant brain tumor from some ingrate brat. I couldn't have done it without those Combos in my tummy. Thanks C-Bos.

@CelesteK I don't know where you live, but out here in Las Vegas, NV not NM, we have them in walmarts and convience stores.

I think they only had Nacho PIzza and Cheddar flavors available at that time, all in pretzel shell. Mars also had a filled Potato CHip snack that were shaped a bit like Combos called Dooley's around this time, though they didn't last as long

But, I'll say this though: I don't care too much about the graphic design of the current Combos, though I love the snack.

I wish the bag looked more like the ones we see here in the commercial. I fondly remember the metallic color scheme they used back then.

Love how the old commercials try to sell junk food by claiming it's good for you. Plus, this one is super cheesey in more ways than one. Even still, I fuckin' LOVE combos! My favourite now is the Jalapeno Cheddar flavour that just came out recently where I live. I could devour bags and bags and bags full of those tasty morsels.
