  • Thanks for all the love & support. I originally did this video for a select group of friends but decided to make it public. One thing I would like to stress is that with music, especially hiphop, despite the consistency of certain sounds & elements (kick, snare, percussion, bass, etc) there are countless styles, patterns, & approaches involved in the creative process so please take my videos with a grain of salt as I'm only sharing my "perspective" but I'm back in the lab so stay tuned for more!

  • As a professional composer and producer, I can honestly say this guy needs to practice a lot before posting to youtube. No offense but before posting a person should have practiced what they are adding to the community. You do have potential though, but still kinda raw. Maybe next time try writing a beat without using a chopped up sample. Maybe a virtual instrument, plus you have mpc pads, why don't you use them it's much more natural for percussion. Please don't get offended just opinions.

  • @gabrielrose1234 Hello sir, thanks for sharing your thoughts & no I'm not offended but perhaps you didn't watch or listen to the video in it's entirety. I say this because in this video I'm not showcasing by "skills" or talents as a professional producer (which I am as well, more to come) but rather going over some "basics" of hiphop production & sampling. There are countless ways to producing music so maybe this wasn't your style or taste but I respect your opinion.

  • give us another one music man!

  • Thanks man like the video good info 🎶🎶🎤

  • What software do you suggest?

  • If u want to use something like this without a computer, it's called a workstation, it's more expensive, but far more powerful. Good for live performances, and studio work. It's like a synthesizer with a computer built into it. Two I would recommend at e the Roland phantom g series, and the yamaha motif series, current some of the top selling workstations in the world.

  • @PrimosInteParas Look up Anonymous on YT and you'll see about the mask.

  • @zsigafari Oh my god ROFL he says he's using a computer in the video. Anyway, if you want to use your keyboard without a computer, then what you need to shop for is a MIDI KEYBOARD SYNTHESIZER. I don't recommend that route (it's less powerful and more expensive!), but don't let anything hold you back!

  • ouu ok ok that was dope fam

  • i wanna use whith no computer this is real?

  • This was one of the instructional videos I've seen on youtube. It was clear, concise, and flowed well logically. I've recently got an MPK49 so this video is very timely as far as beat construction goes. The only thing I didn't like - wuzzup wit da mask, Dude? Is this the Music Man or Friday the 13th's Jason droppin a monsta Hip Hop beat? R u hidin' from da cops or an ex-wife?

  • @CabEMS god damn im a fucking retard....lol i got my akai mpk49 a couple months ago

  • its hollywood!
