30 - compositing Maya with Adobe Premiere Pro

Composite Maya software and hardware renders using Premiere Pro. We start a new DV - NTSC project, change two General Preferences and import our jpg and tiff stills into the program. I also add one sound effect and explain how to control audio levels using the pen tool. We export the finished scene to the Encoder and finally view the video clip. 0:26 Start New Project; 0:46 Set up New Sequence; 0:56 Change General Preferences; 1:24 Import pictures; 2:24 Import sound fx; 3:30 Use the Pen Tool to control audio volume; 4:20 Pre Render the movie; 4:36 Export media to the Encoder.

This is part of a beginners Maya project for my grade 10/11 Animation students.

hi i tried to make the composition in adobe after affects... THough the hardware render came out a different size.... I render both the software and hardware with hd 1080 settings... what am i doing wrong.. thanks for the help in advance..

Great tutorial. I like how your pointer has that yellow circle, and that you zoom in on the menus's. I wish Maya had a way to composite tiffs or targa's within their own software.

I'm use to Softimage, and usually render out an avi instead of indvidual pics.
