Jorge Garbajosa Chaparro Jr., (born December 19, 1977 in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid) is a Spanish basketball player currently playing for the Toronto Raptors of the NBA. At 6 ft 9 in he plays both power and small forward.
He wears #15 for the Raptors, previously worn by ex-Raptors star Vince Carter. Given his pedigree, Garbajosa was a regular starter in the forward position. For the first half of the season, Garbajosa was instrumental in driving the Raptors past the .500 mark and he was awarded Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month honours in December 2006.
He averaged 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game after 67 appearances in his debut season for the Raptors. Garbajosa and Raptors teammate Andrea Bargnani were named to the NBA All-Rookie Team at the end of the season.

man, when he and parker left as well as sam mitchell, the raps lost all the defensive intensity that gave them that 47-35 season. they r absolute shit now but still potential for the future

The Raps failed the past season partly because Garbo did't play. Moon did a good job but he doesn't have Garbo's flair and game IQ.
Plus, Garbo is really inspirational for players like Jose and Andrea. He plays tough, never panics, never gets angry and he's a terrific defender who can guard fast players 4 inches smaller than him. It's a shame he left...

it's an amazing player, the raptors have good european players, it's a shame he is injured now, i wait the raptors will play with him the next season but jamario moon is there and now...Thanks for put the two vids
