my thought on the second quote is that they are not referring to Kant but rather to the fact that the more we know and the more we learn, the more we realise how much it is that we don't know.
You should check out the philosopher Alan Watts, he has some interesting ideas i will leave you a link to an inspiring video at the bottom

@AyumiYue, the earth is not headed for doom. Please read "The Skeptical Enviromentalist." by Bjørn Lomborg. We need not give up any freedoms, or social institutions or lifestyles to "solve" environmental problems because all of them are greatly overblown. There is no threat to the earth, but there is a threat to humanity: the NWO. Zeitgeist is the NWO wearing a green mask; we see through the mask.

@AyumiYue The solutions for those problems are twofold: 1) depend upon Jesus for salvation (in the afterlife) and guidance in this life. 2) allow captialism to find new resources and reduce costs over time.
Nonetheless, the problems you mention will never be fully solved--only mitigated at times. We have flesh bodies and sinful natures; until those are gone, we will have some problems. The Bible (God's true Word) never says that evil will be extinguised before Christ's return.

@AyumiYue, our grand children will likely not exist in a Z/VP world. There will be no families, and a politicallly biased survey of the earth's carrying capacity will be done, and people's ability to reproduce will be technologically restricted by the outcome of the survey. But human overpopulation is a lie.

@LoneStar1776 And, when I said "motivation", I meant believes. If he/she is working with a feeling of integrity, compassion, and brotherhood for his fellows (us, humans) WHAT is wrong if he believe he is going to a heaven of Spaghetti by doing so? If people work for construct a better place and not get us killed, have a strong sense of uniqueness, respect and love with the world, SO WHAT? Satan is taking his soul forever for doing his best for God's people?

@LoneStar1776 well, we are all suns and daughters of the same Father, we are brothers. We are mankind, we shouldn't even have countries and borders. Despite in what we believe, we must learn to live with each other and respect the globe we live within, or we will doom ourselfs. Yes, I agree with you, I prefer a pure hearted guy, but we need solutions, and we need them fast. Our system is colapsing and Earth won't take us too long. We are killing ourselfs. We need respect for each other.

@AyumiYue The bible talks about a one world government and a one world religion and that is exactly what Zetigeist is pushing and it aligns perfectly with Satan's plan to enslave humanity. Yes motivation matters. I would rather be in the desert with a dumb friend who has a pure heart and wants nothing but good things for humanity than to sit in a palace with a wicked genius who is motivated to ultimately enslave humanity.

@LoneStar1776 Well, the Bible never mentioned speculations, dollars and companies. And first, stop thinking only about USA. Other countries were based on the Bible too. We are on same boat - EARTH. So! We are reaching a common point! To build a society, we need actions, we need verbs. We need people doing wright things, studing to know how to better build it. Doctors, archtects, lawers, artists.
First question: does it matter the motivation of the fellow who is working to help this society?
