Sorry for the crappy quality but I'm learning. I felt a little rushed so I didn't even explain the types of paints I use so I'll use this space for that.

I love acrylics..that's basically all I use. I don't like oils since they take about 2 weeks to dry and watercolors just annoy me. I use Liquitex brand and they're amazing. The prices range by colors. The more pigmented colors cost more. For example: the reds, oranges and other bright colors can go up to almost $12 while the blacks, whites and more neutral colors go for about $5 to $8. But it's well worth it.

My next video will be up in a few days depending on how much time I have available. The video will show a complete painting. I hope these videos will give a few people some ideas for their own artwork and help you with learning different techniques.

  • thanks for the tips. I don't know if i have the patience for acrylic painting. I'm more of a spraypaint type of person. good video though. wasn't too long.
