Its 1966 in Colonia, NJ. One town west of my hometown, Rahway, NJ. As a 26 year old me trying out my new Yashica 8mm movie camera, catches PRR Juice on the move. As Archie & Edith Bunker sang ------ "Those were the day's"

  • OK to those who find inaccuracys with the sounds of these 8mm movies, I dubbed them in from my present Mini DV video tapes, a time consuming project! I never said I was a pro, in fact this is my first venture with this sort of thing.

  • QUESTION: what does the color white on the PRR cabins indicate? I know that yellow means that they could run on any division, but how about white?

  • The horn on a G could best be described as the sound of a cast iron whoopie cushion. But in good weather they were fun to run. Especially up the Port Road.

  • Would have been better with a K-4! or L-1, or basically any PRR steamer!
