I'll give you the limp foreign policy AND Clinton era deregulation. However, it was the Bush presidency that ignored terrorist attack warnings, blew off human rights, and managed to destroy every aspect of American dignity at home and in the world.

In 2000, the debt was 5.6 trillion.
In 2000, US even had some budget surplus and could have paid back some of the debt. Republicans jumped on it and cut taxes for the riches instead of paying off the debt.
Then the war started without knowing how much it would cost. Original estimate was overly optimistic and soon kept adding by billions.
Sure, the Dems were partly to blame for allowing it to happen but don't forget who was the initiator.

OMG! I'm not going to pretend I know all about american politics or history. But I am pretty sure that no other president in your history as created such a Economic mess. For that alone he should be named the worst president in history. Not inculding the 2 wars, the horriable public speaker and spying on people's calls. Compeared to Bush, Richard Nixion seems an alright guy. Ha!
No one said Bush is the ONLY one to blame.
But we all know Bush played a HUGE part in fucking things up, and is by far the worst president in recent history.

Anybody who thinks Bush is the only one to blame for the messes we are in need only to listen to Barack Obama himself who said, "There is plenty of blame to go around." Clinton era deregulations that allowed the market to tank and a limp foreign policy that allowed Al-Quada to attack on 9/11.
