If you break this play down, this is a ridiculously amazing play for several reasons: 1st, just look how far Warrick had to leap and how high he got his body, not to mention his sick wingspan. But even more, the fact that even though he was jumping straight at Lee, he got that high, jumped that far, blocked the shot--and DIDN'T FOUL. That was huge. if he had fouled, and Lee had made all three FT's--things may have turned out a whole lot different.
That said--Way to go Melo, GMac and Jimmy B!

Even if Lee had made that three-pointer and sent the game to OT, it would have been hard for KU to pull that one off. If I remember correctly, Keith Langford had already fouled out, and Kansas lacked depth the way it was. Unless Hinrich went ape shit in OT, it would have been Syracuse's game to lose.

Coming from a KU fan. This is DEFINETLY THE moment for Syracuse. Mike Lee was a 3-pt specialist. He would ALWAYS can threes especially in late game scenarios. So yes, this is a VERY UNDER-RATED play. It is just as important as Mario Chalmers' shot v. Memphis to put it into overtime. This time, vice-versa and the shot was blocked. I watched mike lee for years. Trust me, it probably would have gone in. KU has no excuse, couldn't make free throws...Syracuse executed. ***king JERRY MCNAMARA!>!#$%!

Kind of makes you wonder what if? Was lee's shot going to go in? We will never know how big of a block that really could be.

Pwn, glorious pwn!! I'm a major SU fan and when I lived in Topeka, KS for a couple years, I so rubbed this play in the face of many of the local KU fans there..
Best play in SU history.
